Salmonella related to handling and ingesting peanut products has been in the news lately. Testing by state officials in Minnesota and Connecticut, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) enabled the FDA to confirm that the sources of the salmonella outbreak were peanut butter and peanut paste produced by the Peanut Corporation of America (PCA) at its Blakely, Georgia, processing plant. As a result of this finding, a number of foods containing peanut butter and peanut paste produced by PCA have been recalled.

OUR PRODUCTS DO NOT CONTAIN PEANUTS OR PEANUT PRODUCTS FROM THE PEANUT CORPORATION OF AMERICA. Therefore, our products are not affected by the current recall. We will continue to monitor the situation and take our guidance from the FDA.
